The Skip Rule that was added at the beginning of season has been excluded from any IFFL/FCFFL leagues. We voted on the rule and it just adds confusion. So, in order to limit the confusion if the ball hits the ground at any time while playing in an IFFL/FCFFL league game (regular/post season) the ball is DEAD where it hits the ground.

REMEMBER: While playing at the STATE/NATIONAL tournament levels the Skip rule is allowed.

We are introducing a Youth League this year please monitor IFFL website for details.

There is to be no jewelry worn during a game with the exception of wedding bands.

    03/07/06 11:44 PM (posted by: Rob-Commish)

To cut down on confusion, starting March 1, 2006 while playing in any league sanctioned by us, you will no longer be able to wear pockets. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

Just wanted to let everyone know that from the Bull Run Officials Association there have been two rule modifications added this year. Please take a look at the league rules page and view them. If you have any question about the rule modification, please, please call me or before your game get clarification from the officials while you are doing the coin toss. I recommend that to anyone who has a question and has not talked to me about it. Thank you everyone for your interest in our leagues.

    Sincerely,

a 70 yd drive Brian threw a TD to win the game. Thanks

will have make-up games and final regular season games
next week @ Poplar Tree. The schedule will be updated
this weekend. Thank you everyone for your patience!

The schedule has been updated for the upcoming week. I
did my best to schedule your game against a team that you
HAVE NOT played. After next week`s games we will move ALL
games over to Poplar Tree Park field #`s 1-3. The
schedule will be updated again next weekend for the
following week in order to get ALL make-ups done. I need
all teams up to 7 games by the end of next week in order
to finish the schedule. If we get thru next week w/o rain
    delays.

If your team is in the Novice National Division you will
NOT have games next week in order to catch the Novice
American Division up to 8 games. There are ONLY two teams
from the Novice National Div that will be playing next
week. Novice American coaches please check the website
for your updated schedule. One team has another bye
because there are only 6 teams you can play against.
Playing previous teams in NOVICE division is unavoidable
due to the number of teams in NOVICE.

If your team is in B National (the rained out div) you
will have 2 games next week Wednesday & Thurday n order to
catch up with B American. If your team is B American you
will have your final regular season game next week. All B
division coaches PLEASE check the web schedule for your
    updated game time.

If your team is an A division team and your game was
POSTPONED from Greenbriar then you will have 2 games next
week. Other A division teams will have 1 game in order to
get each A division team up to 7 games.

If you have further questions/concerns please don`t
hesitate to contact me on the league line. Thanks &Good
Luck preparing for the post season.

Due to poor field conditions, ALL games scheduled for
October 20, 2004 are postponed. I am not sure at this
point where/when or how they will be made up. But they
will be made-up at a later date. I know that it seems
like it rains every Wednesday, but believe me I am NOT
making it rain. Please continue to check the website for

10/18/04 10:45 PM (posted by: Commish)

The schedule has been updated to cover the rain outs over
the last two weeks. This updated schedule should put each
team up to 6-7 games by the end of the month of October.
We will finish the season off at Poplar Tree Park, Fields
#1-3. I am working on an earlier start time approximately
7:30pm instead of 8pm. The final 1-2 games will be updated
by the middle of next week or sooner. I am waiting on
approval of the new start time.

I need to make everyone aware that if there are more rain-
outs between now and the end of the month we will have to
use Friday nites to make up the season. IT IS THE ONLY
OTHER TIME alloted for us to make-up games.

I also want to make everyone aware that it is very
IMPORTANT that at least one represenative from every team
to attend the mtg to have "VOICE" on the new structure of
the league. Scheduling EVERYONE`S special request makes
scheduling almost impossible and to say the least not that
interesting playing the same team twice some instances
    three times.

The playoff schedule will probably be broken down as shown
    below:

    A Division- Top 8 teams

    B Division- Top 12 teams(6 from American/6 from National)

C Division- Top 8 teams from both divisions combined

NOTE: B division may be revised depending on how much
time is left for field usage. The best scenario is the
top 6 teams from both divisions but it may be reduced to 4
teams from both divisions and then combined. If you have
further questions/concerns please don`t hesitate to
contact me at the league line.

Last but not least EVERYONE needs to know that I DO NOT
control the weather or the declaration of whether fields
are playable or not. As far as final say on questionable
rain days, as a coach I check all resources, i.e. website,
league line, then deploy players to a field. You have to
also consider that although it may NOT be raining at 6pm
and pouring down at 8pm, again I have NO control over the
weather. After games begin it is up to the officials to
postpone a game due to weather/poor field conditions.
I have to remind coaches in order for us to have a season
we have to abide by whatever the county mandates. If we
do not then we will NOT be considered for a permit
regardless of what we pay. Along with funds the county
appreciates flexibility, of which, we have been the most
flexible out of ALL other organizations. I would hate to
ruin the developed relationship between the FCFFL/IFFL and
the county office, that has been established over the past
    two years.

If you have further concerns/questions please don`t
hesitate to call the league line. Thanks again and for
    your continued interest.

    Rob
